Ordination
Most Chaplain students seek to be ordained as a Chaplain. A person who is ordained has gained official status as a Chaplain through a sanctioned process through education and commitment to Chaplain and ministerial functions, according to the ordaining organization.

Core Courses
Courses help students achieve a basis for Chaplainship and attain certificates as a Chaplain; then proceed to Chaplain 2, and then finally a Chaplain 3.
Discipline Courses
To meet the specific skill demands of a particular Chaplaincy discipline, Living Shield Ministries offers certificates of achievement for differing disciplines.
Advanced Courses
Advanced Courses help Chaplains practice skills and further gain expertise in a particular area of compassionate care.

A Chaplain may elect to serve in a particular discipline. We also offer courses to help students gain knowledge and focus for a single discipline.
