Living Shield Ministries in 2025 was described by students and chaplains as an organization that cares. Students reported their class experience was valuable, practical, a true blessing, life-changing, comprehensive, so important, and desperately needed.
One student remarked, “I joined a ministry… that reaches out to the community. There, I regularly use my chaplain training to minister to those who are hurting and in need. As a retired firefighter, I have applied for a chaplain position with Firefighters for Christ International, trusting the Lord to use my past experiences and training for His purposes. I find that I use my chaplain training not only in formal ministry settings, but in everyday life—because there is no shortage of people in need of compassion, prayer, and hope.”
Doing the classes at LSM is a must to get anyone ready for a ministry of Chaplaincy. Once you’re out there my training kicked in! Such an amazing way to serve. Thank you Chaplain Lynne! You and your staff are such a Blessing. ~ WJ

Living Shield Ministries has played a significant role in drawing me closer to Christ and equipping me to serve Him faithfully. Since my ordination in the summer of 2025, the Lord has opened doors for ministry that I could not have imagined on my own. I was humbly asked to officiate a wedding in November of 2025, an experience that was truly a blessing and one I could not have done without the guidance and support of Pastor Bobby and Chaplain Lynne. ~ JG

I have found that I healed personally in these classes. I didn’t even know how much I needed to learn all of the things around trauma and crisis. The classes use all of the crisis and incident stress management, but the addition of using examples from the Bible just spoke to me and helped those principles to align with my personal experiences. ~ LM

I walked into the first class nervous and not sure of myself. I have become more confident and sure that my calling from God is to help people in times of difficult situations. These classes have been a blessing and I’m excited to see where it takes me. ~ CP

I took the Chaplaincy program to be better equipped to minister to people in need and came away with so much more. I believe the knowledge helps you in life in general to those closest to you and gives me a bigger desire to love on people right in the midst of their life.. ~ SD
